New on SI: Los Angeles Dodgers Win 2020 World Series, Ending 32 Year Drought

Los Angeles Dodgers Win 2020 World Series, Ending 32 Year Drought

After three trips to the World Series in the last four years, the Los Angeles Dodgers are finally walking away as Champions. They defeated the Rays 3-1 in Game 6 and have won the World Series title for the first time since 1988. Blake Snell was keeping the Rays at a 1-0 lead. He had 9 strikeouts and allowed just one run on two hits. I think the question everyone wants to know right now is why did Kevin Cash pull Snell?

When Snell left the game we saw Mookie Betts come alive. The right fielder went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored. What has Betts brought to this Dodgers team? Sports Illustrated host Kaitlin O’Toole is joined by SI’s writer Emma Baccellieri for insight.
